Wiosna ( German Spring ) is a progressive and pro-European political party in Poland . The chairman and co-founder of the party is a former member of the Sejm and former mayor of Słupsk , Robert Biedroń .

genesis

Although registered as Kocham Polskę (German I love Poland ) on June 29, 2018, a founding party conference in Warsaw did not take place until February 3, 2019, at which the party was presented under the new name Wiosna . The change in Wiosna or Wiosna Roberta Biedronia (German Robert Biedrońs Frühling ) was requested in January 2019.

Content profile

The basic ideas of the party are the topics of women's rights , equality, rights of people with disabilities, education, local public transport, a better health system and the rule of law.

What is demanded is a basic pension, an increase in the minimum wage, higher wages for teachers, free access to the Internet throughout the country and an increase in child benefit. The chairman Robert Biedroń also emphasized the importance of environmental protection, especially the reduction of air pollution. In order to achieve this, all mines in Poland should be closed by 2035, whereby Poland should rely on renewable energies.
