Wireless Village

Wireless Village is an instant messaging network protocol primarily intended for cell phones . Up to version 1.1 it was developed by Ericsson , Motorola and Nokia and handed over to the Open Mobile Alliance , to which the three companies belong. There it is further developed under the name Instant Messaging and Presence Service .

Implementations can therefore be found primarily in devices from these three manufacturers.
