The wiper is a figure of the Latin American dance .

From the juxtaposition, the outer feet are crossed backwards, with the wiper to the right to the right (as seen from the master), with the wiper to the left to the left. The name of the figure refers to the movement of the striding leg, which "wipes" past the foot of the foot behind the standing leg.

The wiper is in the area of social dance especially in Samba and Cha-Cha-Cha to the application.
