Witaszyce

Witaszyce (German: Witaschütz , Wildschütz (1939-1943), Waidschütz (1943-1945)) is a village in the administrative area Gmina Jarocin in Jarocin County, Greater Poland Voivodeship , in western Poland . It is located about 6 km southeast of Jarocin and 69 km southeast of the state capital Poznan .

The village has a population of 4,300 people.

Witaszyce station is on the Kluczbork – Poznań railway line . The narrow-gauge Jarocińska Kolej Dojazdowa began in Witaszyce .
