The Kluczbork – Poznań (Kreuzburg – Posen) railway in the Polish Voivodeships of Opole and Greater Poland is double-tracked and electrified.

history

The entire line was opened on December 10, 1875 by the Poznan-Kreuzburg Railway , but the end was still at its own station, the Kreuzburger Bahnhof, in Poznan until 1879 . After the opening, the line was expanded to two tracks and nationalized in 1884.

After the First World War , the new German-Polish border was between Kostau and Lenka .

The line has been entirely Polish since the end of World War II and was completely electrified in 1973 and 1974.

Long-distance and local traffic is operated, long-distance traffic stops are Posen , Schroda , Jarotschin , Pleschen , Ostrowo , Schildberg , Kempen and Kreuzburg .
