The Barycz (German Bartsch , Latin Barussus ) is a right tributary of the Oder in Poland .

It rises near the city of Ostrów Wielkopolski in southern Greater Poland . It is about 133 kilometers (previously given as 165 km) long and flows through numerous pond areas in a north-westerly direction. The towns of Odolanów , Milicz , Sułów , Żmigród and Wąsosz are located along the Barycz . At the village of Wyszanów near Szlichtyngowa the Bartsch flows into the Oder.
