The Droga krajowa 25 (DK 25) is a Polish national road , which runs in a north-south direction and the pommersche Bobolice (Bublitz) with the Silesian Oleśnica (Oels) connects. The total length of the road is 440 km. The road leads through a total of five voivodeships .

history

In 1985 the Polish road network was reorganized. The previous state roads (droga państwowa) were renamed and renumbered as state roads (droga krajowa) . Since 1986 there have been three state roads on the route of today's DK 25:

the DK 23 of Bobolice (Bublitz) to Bydgoszcz (Bromberg)
the DK 25 of Bydgoszcz (Bromberg) over Kalisz to Ostrow Wielkopolski
the DK 446 by Antonin according Oleśnica (Oels) .

In 2003 the numbering of the road network was changed so that all state roads were marked with two-digit numbers and all provincial roads with three-digit numbers. Therefore, the three above-mentioned streets were merged to form DK 25.
