The powiat Kaliski is a powiat (district) in the Polish Greater Poland Voivodeship . The powiat has an area of ​​1160.02 km², on which about 83,000 people live. The seat of the powiat is the independent city of Kalisz , which does not belong to it. The population density is about 71 inhabitants per square kilometer.
