history

During the German occupation of Poland, a forced ghetto for Jews from the Kalisch district was set up in Bornhagen . Over 800 inmates were killed in a gassing operation. The administrator of the camp Ferdinand Göhler installed by the district administrator was sentenced to life in prison by the Stuttgart district court in 1950 .
