The National Road 58 (short DK58 , pol. For, national road 58 'respectively, national road 58') is a country road in Poland . It runs in an easterly direction south parallel to national road 16 from Olsztynek via Jedwabno , Szczytno , Pisz and Biała Piska to Szczuczyn . The total length is 161 km.

history

After the reorganization of the road network in 1985, new state roads were assigned to the current road layout. The section from Olsztynek to Zgniłocha was designated as state road 603. The section from Zgniłocha to Jedwabno was part of National Road 598, the section from Jedwabno to Szczytno was part of State Road 545, the section from Szczytno to Babięta was part of State Road 601. The section between Babięta and Ruciane-Nida became State Road 611. The section from Pisz to Szczuczyn was partially assigned to the state road 610. In 1998 the state road 610 to Ruciane-Nida was changed and the state road 545 was shortened to the route from Jedwabno to Szczytno.

With the reform of the numbering on May 9, 2001, all sections were combined to form the new state road 58.
