The Droga krajowa 92 (short DK92 , pol. For, national road 92 'or' national road 92 ') is a country road in Poland . It currently runs on two sections from Rzepin via Warsaw and Mińsk Mazowiecki to Kałuszyn and represents an alternative route to the west-east A2 motorway in Polish road traffic . The total length is 453 kilometers. The first section from Rzepin to Warsaw is 458 kilometers, the second from Choszczówka Stojecka near Mińsk Mazowiecki to Kałuszyn 19.6 kilometers.

history

In 1820 road construction began on the section from Warsaw to Sochaczew, which was then continued in the direction of Kalisz . In 1827–1829 the road from Kolo to what was then the Prussian-Russian border near Gnesen was built.

On the section between Rzepin and Świebodzin , the state road 92 runs on the route of the former Reichsstraße 167 , which, in contrast to DK 92, led from Frankfurt (Oder) / Słubice via Kunowice to Rzepin.

With the reform of the numbering of all state roads on May 9, 2001, the routes running parallel to the toll highways were assigned the numbers 91 to 99. With the completion of the sections of the A2 motorway running parallel to Landesstraße 2, the route from Landesstraße 2 was rededicated to Landesstraße 92. This already happened in 2003 between Września and Konin , in 2005 between Miedzichowo , Posen and Września, in 2008 between Konin, Kutno and Łowicz , in 2011 between Rzepin and Miedzichowo, in 2012 between Łowicz and Warsaw and in the same year between Mińsk Mazowiecki and Kałuszyn .

Modernized sections

In order to reduce the accident rate and improve road safety, the GDDKiA carried out various modernizations along the state road from 2008 as part of the Drogi Zaufania (German: “Trust Roads”) program. The entire stretch of the national road within the Łódź Voivodeship (over 74 km) has been modernized. It was equipped with many measures to improve road safety. In 2012, a ten-kilometer section in the municipalities of Kłodawa and Chodów was modernized for almost 10 million złoty . Another 8.4 kilometers long section from Grzegorzew to Kłodawa was modernized this year. Between 2010 and 2012, the Antoninek node in Poznan was completely renewed for 90 million zloty.

Truck toll

On July 1, 2011, the truck toll between the roundabout with the provincial road 305 near Bolewicko and Września with the exception of the city of Poznan was introduced. On June 1, 2012, the section of the national road from Września to Łowicz, with the exception of the section within Konin, became a toll road for trucks. Since the introduction of the toll on the section of the A2 from the Świecko junction to the Nowy Tomyśl junction in May 2012, most of the trucks to Poznan have used the national road, as the section of the national road between Rzepin and the Bolewicko roundabout is still toll-free. The introduction of the toll on this section has not yet been decided. However, the introduction of a toll could shift some of the truck traffic back onto the motorway.
