Halinów is a city in Poland in the Masovian Voivodeship . The city is also the seat of the town and country municipality of the same name in the Powiat Miński .
Geographical location
Halinów is located about 20 kilometers east of the center of Warsaw .
history
In 1453 the village of Skruda , today's Halinów , is mentioned. During the Third Partition of Poland , the area became part of Austria. With the creation of the Duchy of Warsaw , the village became part of it and in 1815 it became part of Congress Poland . In 1866 the railway line from Brest to Warsaw was completed, which led through Skruda. After the end of the First World War , the place became part of the re-established Poland in 1918. During the Polish-Soviet War , the place was not far from the front. In 1931 the place became part of the Okuniew municipality . In 1936 the railway line leading through the village was electrified and a platform was built. During the Second World War , the place was occupied by the Wehrmacht in September 1939 . The occupation ended with the invasion of the Red Army in January 1945. A year later, the name Halinów was specified for the station and the associated settlement . During an administrative reform in 1952, the place became part of the Otwocki Powiat and the seat of a municipality . 1973 Halinów became part of the Miński Powiat. With the dissolution of the Warsaw Voivodeship , the place was part of the Masovian Voivodeship from 1999. On January 1, 2001, the place received city rights .

About two kilometers south of the city which runs national road 2 , also European route E30 , which leads west through Warsaw and the east including through Biala Podlaska .
The city has a connection to the rail network on which the Koleje Mazowieckie offers direct connections to Warsaw.
The nearest international airport is Frédéric Chopin Airport in Warsaw , which is about 25 kilometers southwest.
Established businesses
In 2004 there were 489 companies in the city and 382 in the municipality. The 312 service companies made up the largest share, followed by 295 retail companies. In addition, 76 transport and 76 manufacturing companies as well as 15 restaurants were located.

In Halinów there is a school complex ( Zespół Szkół ) in which a kindergarten, elementary school and secondary school are integrated.
