The Droga krajowa 71 (short DK71 , pol. For, national road 71 'and, national road 71') is a country road in Poland . It leads from Stryków via Zgierz , Aleksandrów Łódzki , Konstantynów Łódzki , Pabianice to Rzgów and crosses the Łódź metropolitan area . The state road also serves as a bypass of Łódź, as it bypasses the city outside the city limits from the north to the west to the south. The total length is 52.1 km.

history

After the reorganization of the Polish road network in 1985, new state roads were assigned to the road. The section from Stryków via Zgierz and Konstantynów Łódzki to Pabianice was marked as state road 711. The section from Pabianice to Rzgów was part of what was then state road 714. With the reform of the numbering on May 9, 2001, the two sections were combined to form state road 71.
