The Droga krajowa 47 (DK47) is a Polish national road , which in Rabka of the DK7 branches off and then south through the province small poles ( województwo małopolskie ) extends. It then leads via Nowy Targ to Zakopane in the High Tatras and is a total of 40 km long.

history

This route belonged to the Austrian crown land of Galicia until 1918 .

The road from Warsaw via Krakow to Zakopane was declared a state road (droga państwowa) by the Polish Road Act of December 10, 1920 .

In 1985 the Polish road network was reorganized. The previous state roads (droga państwowa) were renamed and renumbered as state roads (droga krajowa) . The road from Rabka to Zakopane was named Droga krajowa No. 95 from 1986 .

In 2003, the numbering of the road network was changed so that the numbers 91-99 were only used for roads that were replaced by parallel motorways. At that time the DK 95 was renamed DK 47 .
