The powiat Oleśnicki is a powiat ( district ) in the Polish Lower Silesian Voivodeship with the district town of Oleśnica . The district has an area of ​​1050 km², on which around 105,000 people live.

The district area includes the territory of the former German districts Groß Wartenberg and Oels , which until 1945 belonged to the Prussian province of Lower Silesia .
