The powiat Bydgoski is a powiat (district) in the Polish Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship . The powiat has an area of ​​1394.80 km², on which about 115,000 people live. It is almost identical to the historic district of Bromberg .

history

The powiat Bydgoski belonged to the Poznan Voivodeship from 1920 to March 31, 1938 and came to what was then the Greater Pomerania Voivodeship on April 1, 1938 as part of a regional reform .

Communities

The powiat comprises eight municipalities, two of which are urban-and-rural municipalities , the main places of which have municipal rights, and six rural municipalities.
