The Powiat Chełmiński is a powiat ( district ) in the Polish Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship with an area of ​​527.62 km² and around 50,000 inhabitants. The district town of Powiat is Chełmno on the Vistula .

history

From 1939 to 1945 the area belonged politically to the district of Kulm (Weichsel) , administrative district Bromberg in the Reichsgau Gdansk-West Prussia .
