The Gmina Papowo Biskupie is a rural community in the Powiat Chełmiński of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name ( German Bischöflich Papau ) with about 750 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality is located 25 kilometers north of Toruń . Its main town is on the east bank of the Jezioro Papowskie ; the Vistula is ten kilometers away. The municipality has an area of 70.44 km², 91% of which is used for agriculture and 1% for forestry.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was part of the Toruń Voivodeship .

The places Falęcin ( Falenczyn , 1866-1945 Dietrichsdorf ), Kucborek , Nowy Dwór Królewski ( Königlich Neuhof ), Storlus ( Storlus ) and Wrocławki ( Wrotzlawken ) are each affiliated with the school authorities.
