The Gmina Nowa Wieś Wielka is a rural community in the powiat Bydgoski of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . The seat of the municipality is the village of the same name ( German Groß Neudorf ) with about 2500 inhabitants, about 20 kilometers south of the center of Bydgoszcz (Bromberg) .
The community has an area of 148.5 km², 60% are forest. The Jezioro Jezuickie (Jesuit Lake ) offers recreational opportunities , with its 147 hectares of sandy beach offering good conditions for water sports.
