Witold Sitarz

Witold Jan Sitarz (born August 12, 1945 in Budy , Rozdrażew municipality ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

He graduated from the Poznań University of Technology ( Politechnika Poznańska ). There he completed his mechanics studies in 1968 and his electrical studies in 1973 as an engineer . From 1968 to 1993 Witold Sitarz worked at Mera-ZAP ( Zakład Automatyki Przemysłowej ), a manufacturer of industrial robots in Ostrów Wielkopolski . In 1980 he became a member of Solidarność . After the state of emergency was imposed in 1981 and Solidarność was banned, Witold Sitarz worked for them underground. From 1990 to 1993 he was President of the Board of Directors and Director of Mera-ZAP. In 1992 he completed his MBA in Economics at the University of Warsaw . Then he was inspector for the economic sector of the city of Kalisz until 1994 . From 1994 to 2007 he was vice or director of the Prosna water and wastewater company . In 2004 he joined the citizens' platform, from 2006 to 2007 he was on the Kalisz City Council. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 , Sitarz joined the electoral district 36  Kalisz . With 11,328 votes, he succeeded in entering the Sejm . He works there on the public finance and defense committees.

Witold Sitarz is married and has three daughters.
