Weather is the weather or the weather conditions in a certain period of time (from several days to a season) in a certain area. It forms the regional impact of the current weather and local climate , particularly with regard to the tangible weather elements such as precipitation, temperature, wind, air pressure and humidity.

If you look at the weather in a location over a period of several days or weeks, the course of the weather elements - the weather situation - often shows a similar course over several days. So the weather elements often alternate. Even in the range of weeks, in the change of the season, partly stable general weather conditions , partly changeable weather conditions, which then cause typical local weather conditions.

The practice of weather forecasting, i.e. predictions about long-term weather trends, is only just beginning and is particularly difficult in Europe due to its climatic conditions.
