Vyacheslav Nikolajewitsch Stjaschkin

Vyacheslav Nikolajewitsch Stjaschkin ( Russian: Вячеслав Николаевич Стяжкин ; with the World Chess Federation FIDE Viacheslav Stjazhkin ; born April 3, 1956 in Saransk ) is a Russian chess player and coach.

Life

Stjaschkin attended the chess section in the Saransk Pioneer House . In the mid-1970s he moved to Leningrad , where he studied at the Mechanical Institute. This was followed by further courses at the Leningrad Zhdanov University and at the Higher Trainer School in Moscow . In 1991 he became the master of sports of the USSR. In August 2003, he was awarded the title of International Master by FIDE . The norms for this he achieved in the tournaments Severstal-1997 in Tscherepowez and Kaissa-1 in 2002 in Alushta .

From 1978 Stjaschkin worked as a youth trainer in Leningrad / Saint Petersburg, first in the pioneer house of the Moscow Rajon and then in the Ismailowski children's and youth center. He achieved a certain degree of awareness as the first coach of Pyotr Swidler . Among his protégés was Rachil Ejdelson from Belarus . In 1995 he was awarded the honorary title of Honored Trainer of Russia for his work and has been a FIDE Senior Trainer since 2015. He is used as a referee and has held the title of international referee since 1993.

Stjaschkin is married to the women's grandmaster Olga Stjaschkina (née Florowa). Her daughter Anna Stjaschkina has the title of international women champion and won the U10 female youth championships 2007 in Kemer and U16 female 2012 in Maribor as well as the European youth U12 female championship 2008 in Herceg Novi .

Stjaschkin's Elo rating is 2405 (as of February 2016), but he is listed as inactive because he has not played a rated game since a tournament held in Sevastopol in October 2002 . This is also his highest rating, which he previously achieved in January 1992.
