Vladimir Grigoryevich Suteev
Wladimir Grigoryevich Sutejew ( Russian Владимир Григорьевич Сутеев ; * July 5, 1903 in Moscow ; † March 10, 1993 ibid) was a Russian children's book author .
The son of a doctor studied at the Moscow Film School and worked first as a draftsman, later as a screenwriter and director on almost 50 animated films . After serving as a soldier in World War II , he began writing and illustrating children's books and magazines. His books have been translated into around 40 languages.
