Weekly press

The weekly press was a political Austrian weekly newspaper. It was published from April 2, 1955 to 1993, when it changed its title to Wirtschaftswoche due to a merger . It was published under this name until December 1996. The 1995 edition was 48,000 copies.

It originated from the weekly edition of the daily newspaper Die Presse . Well-known editors-in-chief were Fritz Molden and Otto Schulmeister , one editor was the journalist Christian Ortner .
