Wogemannsburg

The Wogemannsburg is located in the district of North Friesland ( Schleswig-Holstein , Germany ) on the Eiderstedt peninsula in Westerhever near the church of St. Stephanus.

Today the term describes a terp on which the stronghold of the Wogemänner was located in earlier centuries . In 1370 this castle was destroyed. The pastorate in Westerhever and partly also the church were built from their material .
