The two-storey, plastered residential buildings at Emmastraße No. 258 and No. 260 were built in 1930 in the modern style of the interwar period according to plans by the architect Friedrich Wilms for the doctor Dr. Ready (258) and the architect Dr.-Ing. Wilms himself. Only a few single-family houses in the typical Bauhaus style were built in Bremen and have been preserved as u. a. also the Grohne house .
Even today (2014) the buildings are used for residential purposes.
Monument protection
The buildings were placed under monument protection in 1993 as a Bremen cultural monument.
