Wolf is a Swedish heavy metal band. The All Music Guide sees them as heavily inspired by Iron Maiden .

Band history

Wolf was founded in 1995. In 2000 the debut album Wolf was released . In 2002 the band played at the Wacken Open Air and released the second album Black Wings . Evil Star was released in 2004 . In 2005 Wolf played at the Rock Hard Festival, and drummer Daniel Bergkvist was replaced by Tobias Kellgren. In 2006 the fourth album The Black Flame was released. On July 7th, 2007 Wolf announced that Mikael Goding was leaving the band, Anders “Tornado” Modd joined the band as the new bass player.
