Wolf Armbruster

Wolf Armbruster (* 1962 ) is a former German basketball player . He was on the field for Heidelberg and Hagen in the basketball league .

career

Armbruster took part in 1977, 1979 and 1980 with the German national teams in cadet and junior European championships. At the 1979 tournament, the winger was the best thrower of the German team with an average of 21 points per game.

In 1981 Armbruster moved from Waiblingen to USC Heidelberg in the basketball league . In the spring of 1982 he had to take the relegation from the top German league with the USC. In the 1982/83 season he was directly promoted to the Bundesliga. For the 1983/84 season he went to SSV Hagen and thus to another Bundesliga club. This season was his only one in the Hagen Bundesliga team. In 1984 he returned to USC Heidelberg, for which he played for another year in the Bundesliga and then after relegation until 1987 in the second division.

After completing medical studies, which he completed in Heidelberg and Essen , Armbruster became a specialist in anesthesiology, emergency medicine, and intensive care medicine.
