Wolf Ekkehard Traebert

Wolf Ekkehard Traebert (born June 20, 1932 in Iserlohn ; † August 23, 2016 in Dormagen ) was a German university professor of technology didactics .

Life

Wolf Ekkehard Traebert studied business administration at the University of Cologne . In 1958 he became active there in the Corps Altsachsen . He graduated as a Dipl.-Kfm. from. In addition, he obtained the academic degree of Dipl.-Ing. In 1966 he was awarded a Dr. rer. pole. PhD. Traebert was professor for technology and didactics of technology at the University of Wuppertal and from 1990 to 1997 he held the chair for technology and its didactics at the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster . Traebert was the editor of the six-volume work Technology as a School Subject . He was the 1st chairman of the DGTB .
