Wolf Rüdiger Fehrs (born September 9, 1966 in Neumünster ) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) and a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .

Life and work

In the past, Wolf Rüdiger Fehrs worked in a managerial and managerial position in various commercial areas. He is married and has one child.

politics

Fehrs has been councilor of the city of Neumünster since 2003. He has been a member of the supervisory board of Stadtwerke Neumünster since 2005 and was its chairman from 2008 to 2018. Fehrs served as district chairman of the CDU Neumünster for two years until 2012, and has held this position again since 2013.

In the 2017 state elections , Wolf Rüdiger Fehrs entered the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein for the first time for the 19th electoral term with 36.8% of the first vote as a directly elected member of the Neumünster constituency . He is a member of the finance, the European and the committee for cooperation between the states of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg. As a deputy member, he is a member of the Economic Committee and the Petitions Committee.
