Wolff von Eggenberg († 1615 in Karlstadt ) was an Austrian officer .

Life

Wolff von Eggenberg was a son of Bartholomäus von Eggenberg and Justine von Breuner . He was the nephew and universal heir to Ruprecht von Eggenberg .

Like his uncle, Wolff von Eggenberg embarked on a military career and in 1609 was given command as Colonel General on the border with Croatia .

He died in the fortress Karlstadt in 1615 and was in the mausoleum on Schlossberg in Ehrenhausen at the side of his uncle Ruprecht v. Eggenberg buried.
