Wolfgang Behrendt (news anchor)
Wolfgang Behrendt (* May 18, 1919 ; † May 29, 2001 ) was a German television presenter and chief spokesman for the current news on ZDF .
Life
Wolfgang Behrendt was a trained textile merchant. Through the mediation of a friend, he came to the radio and worked for the Berlin radio until the late 1940s . He then moved to RIAS for ten years , where he a. a. presented the hits of the week . He then worked for WDR until he went to ZDF in April 1963, where he stayed until he retired in 1982.
There is also a record from the Marcato label (64 111) called Das Wunder Stereo - An Introduction to Stereophony , on which music and sound samples on the subject of stereophony are included, which are explained by Wolfgang Behrendt.
