Ernst Eugen Becker

Ernst Eugen Becker (born February 1, 1928 in Kiel ; † August 16, 2013 ) was a German ministerial official and data protection expert.

Life

Becker studied at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . In 1951 he was reciprocated in the Corps Holsatia . The Schleswig-Holstein state parliament appointed him on July 12, 1978 as the first state commissioner for data protection at the interior minister of Schleswig-Holstein. Promoted to Ministerial Director, he retired on August 31, 1992. For many years he was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Schleswig-Holstein Data Protection Academy, founded in 1993 .
