Wolfgang Breitwieser
Wolfgang Breitwieser (born October 24, 1934 , † December 21, 2000 in Fürth ) was a German translator from English .
Life
In addition to his job as a high school teacher at the Melanchthon High School in Nuremberg , Breitwieser also worked as a translator. His late career as a translator from English and Romance languages began especially after his retirement. His transmission of the lyrics by John Donne under the title “Storm my heart. Elegien, Epigramme, Sonette “for the publishing house New Criticism was chosen by the Darmstadt literature jury as the book of the month November 2000.
