Wolfgang Brinkmann (football official)

Wolfgang Brinkmann (born November 10, 1944 in Bielefeld ) is the managing director of Stadtwerke Bielefeld and local politician of the SPD in Bielefeld and former president of the sports club DSC Arminia Bielefeld .

From June 1995 to April 2014, Brinkmann was one of the two managing directors of Stadtwerke Bielefeld GmbH and was responsible for the company's central areas. Furthermore, Brinkmann was parliamentary group leader of the Bielefeld SPD for many years and is currently the party's treasurer . In addition, Brinkmann was president of the Arminia Bielefeld sports club from June 6, 2010 to June 27, 2011 , where he previously worked as deputy chairman of the supervisory board . He was the successor to long-time President Hans-Hermann Schwick , who had previously resigned.
