Wolfgang Bunse is a former German basketball player .

career

Bunse played at TuS 04 Leverkusen , with whom he became German champions in 1970, 1971 and 1972, before moving to 1. FC Bamberg in the basketball league in 1972 . Behind Jim Wade , he was the second best Bamberg scorer in the 1972/73 season (299 points). Initially, he was on the field for Upper Franconia in the 1973/74 season, but left the team in the course of the season for personal reasons. During his time in Leverkusen, Bunse also played in European Cups.
