Wolfgang Felix

Wolfgang Felix (born September 30, 1923 in Heidelberg ; † October 25, 2010 ) was a German pharmacologist.

Career

Felix was born as the son of the biochemist Kurt Felix and Emmy Felix, nee Vogtherr. He received his doctorate in 1950, followed by his habilitation in 1957. In 1964 he was appointed adjunct professor. From 1972 he was professor and department head at the Pharmacological Institute of the University of Munich .

The main focus of his scientific work was the pharmacology of the blood circulation and toxicology.
