Wolfgang Höltzel

Wolfgang Christoph Michael Höltzel (* in Salzburg ) is a German singer ( baritone ) and actor.

Life

After graduating from high school and studying singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna , Wolfgang Höltzel began his career as a singer in 1993 at the Neue Flora in Hamburg with the production of " The Phantom of the Opera ".

Further engagements followed in Germany , Austria and Switzerland . His repertoire includes musical parts for baritone such as Raoul (The Phantom of the Opera), Javert (Les Misérables), Péron (Evita), Billy Flynn (Chicago), Sam (Mamma Mia!) And operetta roles such as Dr. Settlers (in the white Rößl) and many more.

He also worked in film and television productions.

In addition to his engagements, he has been a member of the Berlin Comedian Harmonists since 2005.
