Wolfgang Hüsken

Wolfgang Hüsken (born March 31, 1948 in Brünen ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2000 to 2010 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Life

After elementary and commercial school, Hüsken passed secondary school in 1964. From 1964 to 1969 he completed an administrative internship and then an apprenticeship for high-level municipal service and received his degree in administrative management (FH) in 1969. He then did his basic military service from 1969 to 1970 and then worked from 1970 until his election to the state parliament as head of the district of Schermbeck in the Wesel district. During this time, he completed a part-time study at the Administration and Business Academy in Duisburg from 1971 to 1974, which he completed in 1974 with a municipal diploma. From 1984 to 1993 he was a part-time lecturer at the Study Institute for Public Administration in Duisburg and from 1988 to 2000 he was an honorary judge at the Duisburg Social Court.

Hüsken became a member of the CDU in 1997 and has been a member of the board of the CDU's medium-sized and business association in Hamminkeln since May 1997. Since October 1997 he has been chairman of the CDU local association in Brünen and also a member of the board of the Hamminkeln city association. Since 1999 he has been a member of the city council of Hamminkeln and chairman of the local CDU parliamentary group and also chairman of the local political association of the CDU in the Wesel district. Since June 2, 2000, he has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, where he is a full member of the Committee on Local Policy and Administrative Structural Reform and the Committee on Budgetary Control. He was also the party's spokesman on the Budgetary Control Committee.
