Wolfgang Hecht
Wolfgang Hecht (born February 16, 1928 in Halle an der Saale , † 1984 in Erfurt ) was a German literary scholar .
Life
From 1946 to 1951 he studied German, philosophy and art history in Halle an der Saale. After receiving his doctorate in 1952 as Dr. phil. In 1952 he became a lecturer at the Pedagogical University of Potsdam and in 1963 a research assistant at the National Research and Memorial Centers for Classical German Literature in Weimar. In 1971 he completed his habilitation .
