Wolfgang Hofheinz

Wolfgang Hofheinz (* 1947 ) is a German electrical engineer and specialist book author.

Life

From 1968 Hofheinz studied electrical engineering at the Giessen University of Applied Sciences . In 1972 he became a development engineer at AEG-Telefunken . In 1975 he moved to Bender GmbH & Co. KG, a manufacturer of electronic security systems based in Grünberg . In 1995 he became the company's managing director. In 2010 he was elected chairman of the German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies (DKE). He took over the office in 2011. He held this office until the end of 2014.
