Wolfgang Krenz
Wolfgang Krenz (born April 24, 1943 in Königswinter ) is a German architect .
Life
He completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer and a draftsman, soon studying architecture at the University of Mainz from 1962 to 1965 and at the University of Karlsruhe from 1967 to 1972 .
Since 1993, Krenz has been a professor at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences in the architecture department with a focus on "Design and the basics of design". In addition, under “Prof. Krenz Architekten // Archwerk Generalplaner KG ”has its own office. His main focus is on public buildings such as the Jahrhunderthaus Bochum (2005). Krenz was appointed professor of architecture at the EBZ Business School in 2011 .
