Wolfgang Müller (born January 18, 1936 in Weilburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Wolfgang Müller did an apprenticeship as typesetter after elementary school and passed the assistant examination in 1954. Since 1956 he has worked as a text metter in a newspaper publisher in Wetzlar, and since 1971 he has worked as a make-up editor. In 1951 he joined IG Druck und Papier and had been a member of the works council since 1959 and chairman of the works council since 1968.

Wolfgang Müller is married and has a daughter.

politics

Wolfgang Müller has been a member of the SPD since 1972 and from 1975 he was the local association chairman in Solms . There he was also city councilor and chairman of the SPD city council group.

On June 11, 1985 he replaced Gerhard Bökel as a member of the Hessian state parliament. He held the mandate for 3 terms until April 4, 1995.

Other offices

Wolfgang Müller had been an honorary labor judge since 1965.
