Wolfgang Müller (ethnologist)

Wolfgang Müller (born January 27, 1953 in Bad Homburg in front of the height ) is a German ethnologist .

Life

Wolfgang Müller studied historical ethnology , European ethnology and cultural anthropology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. In field studies he researched the cultures and languages ​​of Indian peoples in Mexico ( Tarahumara , Huicholen , Zapotec , Chinanteken , Huave , Tseltal and Tzotzil ). His main areas of work are Indian studies , cultural ecology and comparative linguistics . He works as a translator and freelance writer.
