Wolfgang Melchior Volland

Wolfgang Melchior Volland (born May 30, 1684 in Nuremberg ; † April 26, 1756 there ) was a German cantor and composer.

Wolfgang Melchior Volland was a son of Konrad Jakob Volland (1654–1687) and Christine Ernst (* 1655).

Around 1730 he was cantor at the St. Lorenz School in Nuremberg .

His daughter Anna Felicitas (1720–1799) married the publisher Jacob Heinrich Franz (1713–1769) in 1744, their daughter Helena Rosina († 1784) married the Nuremberg goldsmith Isaak Daniel Waldt (1698–1774) in 1728.
