Wolfgang Nadvornik (economist)

Wolfgang Nadvornik (born March 31, 1956 in Amstetten , Lower Austria) is an Austrian economist and university professor at the Alpen-Adria University in Klagenfurt .

Education and academic career

Nadvornik studied business administration and business education at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz . After completing his doctorate and practicing in commercial trust management (KPMG), he qualified as a professor in the business administration department and worked as a visiting professor at universities in Germany and abroad, such as the University of Osnabrück , the Philipps University of Marburg and the University of Riga ( Latvia ). From a professorship at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald in Germany , he was appointed to the Alpen-Adria-Universität as a full professor for corporate finance, money and credit, in order to help set up the economics chair of the same name.

His areas of expertise include investment and finance, credit checks, stock valuation, and financial company and investment valuation, and auditing and fiduciary services.
