Wolfgang Plischke

Wolfgang Plischke (born September 15, 1951 in Stuttgart ) is a German biologist, member of the supervisory board of Bayer AG and a member of the university council of Hohenheim University .

Live and act

Plischke attended school in Stuttgart and studied biology at the University of Hohenheim including a doctorate to become a Dr. rer nat (1979). After joining the Bayer Group in 1980, Plischke worked in the pharmaceuticals division in various regions of the world until he was appointed to the Board of Management in 2006. As a member of the Executive Board, he was responsible for technology, innovation and sustainability as well as for overseeing the Asia / Pacific region until 2014 .
