Wolfgang Schild (State Secretary)

Wolfgang Schild (* 1952 in Dudweiler ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2007 to 2012 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of the Saarland and had previously worked as State Secretary for Justice from 1999 to 2007.

biography

After studying law and completing his legal traineeship, Schild worked from 1976 to 1979 as a research assistant at the Institute for European Law at Saarland University . In 1980 he joined the Saarland judicial service, as a result Schild became a public prosecutor and judge at the regional court. From 1990 to 1992 he was a judge in Cottbus at the local district court / district court, from 1992 a judge at the higher regional court.

Schild has been a member of the Judicial Examination Office since 1986. Until his appointment as State Secretary, he was a deputy member of the Constitutional Court , head of trainee law groups and lecturer at Saarland University.

Wolfgang Schild is married and has two children.

Schild is a member of the CDU. Until 2010 he was chairman of the CDU district association of Dudweiler.

After the success of the CDU in the state elections in Saarland in 1999 and the subsequent formation of a government by Peter Müller , Schild became State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice in September 1999. Due to changes in the departmental structure, he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Health and Social Affairs from 2004 to 2007 and State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Labor, Health and Social Affairs from 2007 to 2012.
