Wolfgang Sondermann

Wolfgang Sondermann (born July 4, 1950 in Minden ) is a German civil engineer for geotechnical engineering at Keller Grundbau .

Sondermann went to high school in Petershagen and studied civil engineering at the TU Braunschweig with a diploma in 1976 with Hanns Simons . From 1976 to 1979 he was a project engineer with Philipp Holzmann in Frankfurt and then a research assistant at the Institute for Foundation Engineering and Soil Mechanics at the TU Braunschweig, where he received his doctorate in 1983 (stresses and deformations in reinforced earth). Then he was partner and authorized signatory in the engineering office for geotechnical engineering Simons und Partner in Braunschweig. From 1986 he was at GKN Keller GmbH (Consulting and Development Department in Offenbach), which later became Keller Grundbau, and in 1990 took over the North division. In 1998 he became managing director of Keller and in 2000 managing director of Keller Holding GmbH with responsibility for continental Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. From 2003 he was on the board of the Keller Group plc and its executive director.

In 2003 he became a lecturer for special civil engineering at the TU Darmstadt at the chair of Rolf Katzenbach .

From 2014 he is chairman of the German Society for Geotechnics .
