Wolfgang Vöge (born September 15, 1955 in Ahlen / Westf. ) Is a former German football player .

Career

Vöge is the fourth of seven children of a miner, a BVB fan and a trained industrial clerk from an early age. He began his professional career in 1975 at Borussia Dortmund in the 2nd Bundesliga and immediately rose to the Bundesliga in the first season . In 1980 he then moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen , where he played until 1984. He then moved to Switzerland for FC Lugano , where he played for two years. In 1985/86 he was the top scorer in the National League B with 29 goals . Then in 1986 FC Winterthur got him , where he stayed for a year. He ended his career at FC Zurich in 1988 . Vöge made 223 appearances in the Bundesliga (44 goals) and 14 games in the 2nd Bundesliga (1 goal) in his career .

After the career

Today Vöge is a player and coach consultant in Switzerland with his company IFM Sportmanagement in Winterthur . Here he appeared in particular as a consultant to Matthias Sammer .

Vöge is married and has three children.
